We had a lazy morning as this was the first day since Moncton that we were in one place for more than one night. After breakfast we got organized and called a taxi and travelled to the Museum of History then walked over the Citadel where we saw the pipe and drum corp perform, an infantryman shot a rifle and the shot a small cannon. It was very warm but the buildings were so thick that they were cool inside and there was a nice breeze. We went down to the water front and went through the Marine Museum which had many different types of Scotian water craft, a Titanic exhibit and the Halifax explosion. The display on the explosion was quite upsetting. So many people lost, more than 1 600, and more than a kilometre in area was destroyed. We had lunch at McKelvies, our last fish for the journey. Everything was delicious. We watched a tall ship dock then decided to return to the motel to get organized for our departure. We were amazed at how many things we checked off our list but also how many experiences we had that weren’t even on list.
